Cleaning the Stylus

A stylus may need to be cleaned periodically to remove any dust particles from the tip.

To clean the stylus tip:

Select

Stylus

Tower Up

to raise the tower to the maximum vertical position.

Remove any samples from the stage.

3

Clean the tip using a lint-free swab moistened with deionized water or laboratory grade alcohol. Lightly
touch the tip with the lint-free swab to remove dust. You may also use a small soft-bristle paintbrush. Do
NOT use an air gun.
