: Depreservation of New Oil pump

OPERATIONS AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Release the oil pump from packaging and remove all blanking covers from it.
2. To remove preservation grease, immerse the oil pump into a bath with clean oil MS-20

heated to a temperature of 75 to 85 °G and while rotating the drive splined shaft leftwards by
hand, wash the spaces of the scavenging and delivery stages of the oil pump.

3. Wipe the outer surface with a cloth moistened in gasoline.
