9. 2 . Charging station
Errors Possible reasons Troubleshooting
The battery is
not charged
when the
POS MobilePro III
is in the
charging sta-
tion. The Euro plug of the
power supply Vectron
PS80 is not plugged
to a voltage-carrying
outlet. Insert the Euro plug of the
power supply to a volt-
age-carrying outlet.
The power supply plug
is not put into the
power connector of the
charging station. Put the power supply plug
into the power connector
of the charging station.
The charging
contacts of the
POS MobilePro III do
not contact those of
the charging station. Put the POS MobilePro III
into the charging station
so that the charging
contacts touch each other.
Clean the charging
contacts as described in
chapter 8.1.3 “Cleaning
the contacts” on page
81.
The temperature of
the battery is above or
below the permissible
temperature range.
The display for the
charging state has a
red frame and an error
message appears. Make sure that the
ambient temperature is
as described in chapter
5.2 “Battery B60” on
page 38. Wait until the
battery temperature is in
the permissible range.
The power supply that
is connected to the
charging station is not
approved by Vectron. Connect the Vectron
PS80 or another approved
power supply to the
charging station.
The battery is dam-
aged. Contact your Vectron
dealer.
