• Run-down or faulty batteries cannot be
repaired.
• Please dispose of run-down or faulty bat-
teries properly.
Tips for a long battery service life:
• Use the batteries until the POS MobilePro III signals the
discharge: either by fading in „Charge battery“ or when the
bar for charge indication turns red.
• Always charge the batteries in the charging station com-
pletely.
• Batteries that are not used for a longer period (approx.
2 - 3 months) should be charged 40-50 %. For this purose,
the discharged battery needs to be charged for about 40
minutes. Do not store the battery in the battery charging
station afterwards.
7.11. MicroSD card
The POS MobilePro III has an installed MicroSD card slot. You
can use a MicroSD card e.g. for loading a backup or an update
or for storing a backup.
7.11.1. Inser ting the MicroSD card
Proceed as follows to insert a MicroSD card to the card reader:
• Remove the battery as described in chapter 7.10.4 “Ex-
changing the battery in the POS MobilePro III” on page
69.
• Take the MicroSD card so that the contacts are on top.
• Slide the MicroSD card into the card reader, the chip to the
front until it locks in (see in chapter 4.2.5 “Battery com-
partment” on page 25).
• Insert the battery and close the POS MobilePro III as de-
scribed in chapter 7.10.4 “Exchanging the battery in the
POS MobilePro III” on page 69.
