• Remove the battery.
• Insert the new battery to the compartment.
• Press down the battery.
• Put back the battery compartment lid as described in Fig.
27 “Battery compartment lid open” on page 70.
• Fold down the battery compartment lid.
• Close the battery compartment lid by pressing down the
locking until it snaps.
7.10. 5. Prolonging the batter y ser vice life
The battery is a chargeable lithium-polymer battery.
If the battery capacity is below a defined minimum value, the
spare capacity is indicated on every start of the POS system.
If the spare capacity is exhausted as well, the POS system is
shut down after a respective warning.
