AW C22-C42, AW D22-D42
Use
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concering use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved, Childen shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and
clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns.
Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
Risk of electric shock!
Failure to observe this warning may result in fatal accidents and injuries.
Before any servicing on the unit, turn off the main switch and secure it with a padlock. The unit may
have more than one switch.
Reduce risk of injury!
Failure to follow these precautions may result in injury. Sheet metal parts can have sharp edges and
burrs. Wear suitable protective clothing, goggles and gloves for all work on this unit for cleaning and
other servicing.
AW C22/C42 for corrosive environments
The fan heater is available in two sizes: AW C22 and AW C42.
They have been adapted specifically for use in corrosive environments, such as offshore or chemical industry.
• Meets the requirements for corrosion class C5-M.
• Uses hot water as the energy medium.
• Stainless acid-proof steel casing, air deflector grille, and bracket, EN 1.4404.
• All pipes in the water heater, including hoses and connections, are made from stainless acid-proof steel, EN 1.4404.
• Nano-coated aluminium fins.
• Protection class IP65 – protected against dust and water jets.
• Removable front panel for fast and easy cleaning.
• Fitted with draining plugs for removing dirty water after spraying.
• Supplied without any automation and a single fan speed.
• See appendix A for technical data on the fan heaters.
• Wall bracket AWVS supplied for mounting the fan heater on the wall for a horizontal air stream,
or on the ceiling for a vertical air stream.
Accessories.
Thermostat AWST35. Sealed thermostat 0-35 °C, IP65.
Thermostat AWST70. Sealed thermostat 0-70 °C, IP65. Not AW C42 at 60Hz operation.
Flat filter AWPFC. Max. hot water temp. at the installed filter is 100 °C.
AW D22/D42 for dusty environments
The fan heater is available in two sizes: AW D22 and AW D42.
They have been adapted specifically for use in dusty environments, such as industrial premises and joinery mills.
• Uses hot water as the energy medium.
• Stainless acid-proof steel casing, air deflector grille, and bracket, EN 1.4404.
• Water battery featuring copper pipes and aluminium fins.
• Flat fin spacing of 4,2 mm to minimise the risk of dust and particles clogging up the water battery.
• Protection class IP65 – protected against dust and water jets.
• Removable front panel for fast and easy cleaning.
• Fitted with draining plugs for removing dirt and water after spraying.
• Supplied without any automation and a single fan speed.
• See appendix A for technical data on the fan heaters.
