Operation
The ALFANET 72 is a panel mount double Thermostat. The Thermostat has three relay outputs that
can be set for cooling, heating or alarm function. Thermostat-1 uses temp.sensor-1 with relay-1,
Thermostat-2 uses temp.sensor-2 with relay-2. Relay-3 can function as an alarm relay or as 2nd
stage for Thermostat-2. Normally the temperature of temp.sensor-1 is shown on the display.
The ALFANET 72 is provided with an RS-485 network connection, so that it can be read out and
adjusted on the ALFANET thru the ALFANET PC-Interface.

Installation
On the connection diagram of the ALFANET 72 is shown how the sensors, power supply, relays, and
network should be connected. After connecting the ALFANET 72 to the power supply, a self-test
program is started. As the test is finished the measured temperature of temp. sensor-1 appears in
the display.

Control
The ALFANET 72 thermostat can be controlled by four pushbuttons on the front.
These keys are;
SET
- view / change the set value and reset alarm.
∏ UP
- increase the set value.
π DOWN
- decrease the set value.
°C
- hidden relay status key.
