12.1.3 Cleaning the water supply line filter sieve
Procedure
1. Remove the access cover (Fig. 3/1, Pos. 22) at the
rear of the machine.
2. Stop the supply of water by closing the shut-off
valve (main valve).
3. Unscrew the water filter cover (1) and extract the fil-
ter sieve.
4. Clean and re-insert the filter sieve.

5. Re-attach the machine casing and open the shut-off valve.
12.1.4 Cleaning the steam supply line filter sieve (VC999 ST2 D)
CAUTION
Hot steam! There is a risk of scalding from the discharge of hot steam! Always close the shut-
off valve in the steam supply line before removing the filter sieve!
Procedure
1. Stop the supply of steam by closing the shut-off valve (main valve).
2. Use an open-end spanner (size 22) to unscrew the filter cover and extract the filter sieve.
3. Clean and re-insert the filter sieve.
4. Close the filter cover and open the shut-off valve.
