Depth stop

Loosen the handle attachment and place the straight part of the depth stop in the hole. Adjust
the depth stop and retighten the handle attachment.

9.9

Dust collection device

Before carrying out hammer-drilling work vertically overhead pull dust collecting device over
the drill bit.

9.10

Function mode selector

Important! Hammer drilling requires a low pressure. Too much pressure will
place unnecessary load on the motor. Check the drill bits regularly. Re-
sharpen or replace blunt drill bits.

Do not use the chuck with SDS connector in combination with the
hammer/hammer drill function!

9.11

LED light (Fig. 7)

The LED work-light can light prior to motor running if you press the switch lightly, which keep
the work area to be lighted for checking clearly at first, and it lights also during your operation.

WARNING: Do not stare directly at the light beam. Never aim the beam at
any person or an object other than the work piece.

Do not deliberately aim the beam at personnel and ensure that it is not
directed towards the eye of a person for longer than 0.25 s.

9.12

How to use the hammer drill

After placing the tip of the tool on concrete surface, switch ON.

By utilizing the weight of the machine and by firmly holding the hammer drill with both
hands, one can effectively control the subsequent recoil motion.

Proceed at a moderate work-rate, the use of too much force will impair efficiency.

The hammer drill function will not work when the tool does not encounter resistance.

Hammer/ drill mode:

Drill in masonry, concrete and natural stone.
Don’t use the hammer drill function for ceramic tile or others material cannot
withstand impact energy.

Chiselling mode:

Chisel in masonry, concrete and natural stone.

Drilling mode:

Drilling in wood, synthetic materials and metal.

Chisel Rotation:

Non-working position used only to rotate flat chisel into the desired position.
