Error message Check Solutions
ERROR 0101
Microswitch ON
Displayed when the microswitch is ON
before the pressure lever lowers to
start sealing.
The microswitch may be damaged.

Replace the microswitch referring
to "10-8 Microswitch replacement"
(→ page 34), or request your
dealer to make repairs.
ERROR 0102
Microswitch ON
Displayed when the microswitch is ON
after sealing operation is finished.
ERROR 0201
Microswitch OFF
Displayed when the microswitch is
turned OFF during heating process.

Is the seal pressure properly
adjusted according to the film
thickness?
Adjust the seal pressure referring to
"11-1 Sealing pressure adjustment
method" (→ page 37).
If the error continues after pressure
adjustment, contact your local dealer
for repair.
ERROR 0301
Heating time up
Displayed when heating continues
longer than a preset time.
→ Do you use a multiple outlet
adapter?
→
Do you use an extension cord?
→ Do you use the heating element
designated by Van der Stahl ?
→ Do not use an extension cord or a
multiple outlet adapter.
→
Insert the power plug directly to
the power outlet.
→ Always use genuine Van der Stahl
Scientific heating element.
→ Is the temperature sensor displaced
or shifted from its position?
Correct the positional shifting or
disconnection of the temperature
sensor referring to"10-7 Temperature
sensor replacement" (→ page 32).
ERROR 0501
Poor cooling
Displayed when heating is detected
during the cooling process.
→
Is the film/bag placed close to the
temperature sensor?

If the error is displayed without
inserting the bag to the seal
area, the control unit may be
malfunctioning and may need to
be replaced.
ERROR 0601
Poor heating
Displayed when temperature does not
increase during the heating process.
→
Is the temperature sensor displaced
or shifted from its position?
→ Is the temperature sensor broken?
Correct the positional shifting or
disconnection of the temperature
sensor referring to "10-7 Temperature
sensor replacement" (→ page 32).
→ Is the heating element damaged?
Replace heating element referring to
"10-3 Heating element replacement"
(→ page 28).
