Steering for forward driving remains active when the driver's seat is turned to the
reverse driving station.
IMPORTANT: If the reverse driving steering fails while driving, use the forward
driving steering. Or, if possible, turn the seat to the forward driving station.
The brake pedal for reverse drive control also controls the trailer brakes (extra
equipment).
3.8.23.2 Activating and deactivating TwinTrac
CAUTION: Do not drive on public roads when using the reverse drive
controls.
IMPORTANT: Keep the driving speed below 25 km/h when using the reverse
drive controls.
1. Set the forward driving power shuttle to position P.
If the front power shuttle lever is not in position P, the driving directions
cannot be engaged using the reverse driving controls and the tractor will not
move.
2. Turn the driver's seat to reverse driving station.
You can now operate the tractor in the same way as with the forward driving
station.
3. To deactivate TwinTrac:
•
Set the reverse driving power shuttle to position P.
•
Turn the driver's seat to forward driving position.
3.8.23.3 Using TwinTrac with QuickSteer
You can use either the normal steering or the electrically controlled QuickSteer to
steer the tractor.
NOTE: When the driver's seat is turned to the reverse driving station, the steering
valve is always on even if QuickSteer is not activated. In this case, the slowest
steering speed is used.
NOTE: If the light on the QuickSteer activation button or the Auto-Guide steering
valve ON/OFF button (optional equipment) is blinking, there is a fault in the
steering valve. A fault code is shown on the armrest display. Reset the steering
valve to recover from the fault.
