7. IGNITION CHECK

Before attempting to install, it is worth checking that
the electronic ignition system performs
satisfactorily.

Fit the control knob to the slider assembly using

two M4 x 7mm screws supplied (See figure 10)

Fit the battery to the ignition block located below

the burner tray at the left side (See figure 11). The
+ve and -ve terminal positions are marked on the
battery holder body.

Depress the slider control knob as far as it will

go. This should close the ignition circuit. Sparks
should be seen tracking from the electrode pin to
the pilot tip (See figure 12). 

If there are no sparks make the following checks.

Check condition of battery and that it is correctly

located.

If the above is satisfactory, check the ignition

circuit and components - see the servicing and
parts replacement section in this guide.
