CHAPTER 3

INSTALLATION

This chapter provides you with information that is intended to help
you install this product.

Connections

The Battery Regulator QBR101 has three removable screw
connectors. The connector X1 is for power input, X2 is for power
output, and X3 is for various control functions. The connector signals
are described in the tables below.

input voltage is +15.5 ... 16.0 VDC for 12 V

systems (e.g. from an off-line SMPS supply).

Ground terminals for DCin

The + terminal for solar panel 1. This input
connects only to the battery charger (no
straight connection to the DCout or
DCout/switch terminals).

The + terminal for solar panel 2.This input
connects only to the battery charger (no
straight connection to the DCout or
DCout/switch terminals).

7

GND

Ground terminal of the solar panel inputs.
