2. Detach the negative (

) cable from the battery, and make sure that the cables do not

touch each other.

3. Detach the positive (

) cable from the battery.

4. Remove the mounting clamp and then the battery from the holder.

5. Install the new battery.

6. Reconnect cabling in reverse order: positive (

) cable first.

7. Switch the power back on and check that the new battery works properly.
