Dealing with Operational Event Messages
(OPER)
Operational event messages include the following two message types:
-
Messages related to sensor measurement problems
-
Messages related to changes in weather
Sensor-related messages appear when the data measured by a sensor does
not fall within the range specified for that sensor (for example, “WIND
SPEED 52, MINIMUM 0.0, MAXIMUM 50.0”). These messages can
indicate, for instance, that the sensor needs calibration or that there is a
physical obstruction preventing the normal operation of the sensor.
Weather-related messages appear, for instance, when wind values are
changing as preconfigured.
