Typical Daily Maintenance Tasks

The following are typical maintenance tasks that have to be taken care of
daily.

Checking System Status and Events

Your main task is to monitor the system status and events in the
Diagnostics application. For more information on using Diagnostics, see

Chapter 5, Diagnostics, on page 49

Checking History Data

You should check the event history data daily to see what technical
notifications and alarms were generated during the day. For instance, if
there is a slight technical problem that has recurred frequently but passed
without your intervention, you might decide to perform a thorough check
on the corresponding field device.
