Move to the folder where the Axeda Agent has been installed, by
default c:\Axeda\Connector.
4.
Execute the following commands:
eKernel.exe -register
net start "AxedaConnector"
5.
Move to the folder where the Axeda Desktop server has been
installed, by default c:\Axeda\Desktop\Server.
6.
Execute the following command:
AxedaDesktopServer.exe -register
7.
Do the same in all servers (CDUs).
In addition, the configuration parameters must have been set correctly
during installation for the remote monitoring software to work.
Disabling Remote Monitoring Software
To disable the remote monitoring software you need to stop and unregister
two Windows services in the servers (CDUs) that are monitored.
Do the following:
1.
Log in as administrator level user in the server (CDU) which is to be
monitored.
2.
Open the Command Prompt (CMD).
3.
Move to the folder where the Axeda Agent has been installed, by
default c:\Axeda\Connector.
4.
Run the following commands:
net stop "AxedaConnector"
eKernel.exe -unregister
5.
Move to the folder where the A:xeda Desktop Server has been
installed, by default c:\Axeda\Desktop\Server.
6.
Execute the following commands:
net stop "Axeda Desktop Server"
AxedaDesktopServer.exe -unregister
7.
Do the same in all servers (CDUs).
NOTE
To enable remote monitoring, do not stop or disable these services. If you
need to stop the services temporarily, remember to start them again.
