3.16.3 Programming the Type III Control Box

Figure 3.54

The Box is always preset at Väderstad for the machine model and size with which it is supplied.
If the Box is replaced or has lost the settings, it must be reset.

The procedure for changing the settings such as alarm times, area metering etc is also described
here.

NOTE!

After completing programming, be sure to switch off the power switch on the control box.

When the control box is later switched on, it is in the drive mode.

Basic settings are made by pressing the symbols on the Cal1 strip on the Box.

1 Switch the Box on while pressing * (button 6). Cal1 appears in the RH display.

The selected setting has been stored only when ENTER stops flashing in the LH display. In the
RH display, the setting adjusted last (except drill model) continues to flash.

2 Machine type. Button 1.

Advance using the button (1) until the correct values appear in the display. (rdF.3 = 300-450
F, rdF.5 = 500-800 F, Con = Concorde, rdS = Rapid S, rdC = Rapid C).

Then press ENTER

NOTE!

Be careful not to confuse the ‘S’ in RdS with ‘5’, which looks the same!
