Basic Connections: RoboSHOT QDVI System
The Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI-SR provides power and control to the camera, brings camera video to the
connected display, and offers daisy-chaining capability for legacy equipment. DVI/HDMI and YPbPr
(analog component video) outputs accommodate older displays.
If using the IR FORWARD connector:

Use the MOD and GND pins (1 and 2) for balanced (differential) IR. Because it is a differential signal,
you can swap the two wires.

Use the GND and NON-MOD pins (2 and 3) for unbalanced (single-ended) IR, for example if connecting
to Polycom equipment. Because it is not a differential signal, pin 2 must go to the GND connection at
the other end of the cable.
This diagram shows a RoboSHOT 12 camera. The RoboSHOT 30, RoboSHOT 12E CAT-5, and
RoboSHOT 30E CAT-5 connect in the same way.
