This chapter does not contain descriptions for decontamina ‑
tion of the product. This chapter describes simple measures for
cleaning and care.

Before cleaning, switch off the diaphragm pump.

Clean the surfaces
Clean dirty surfaces with a clean, slightly damp cloth. We recom ‑
mend using water or mild soapy water to moisten the cloth.
7.2.2 7.2.2 Clean or replace molded PTFE hoses Clean or replace molded PTFE hoses
Maintenance provides the opportunity to check the components
of the diaphragm pump, including the hoses.

Clean the inside of very dirty molded hoses, e. g., using a
pipe cleaner or similar.

Replace brittle and defective molded hoses.
7.2.3 7.2.3 Clean or replace the controller Clean or replace the controller
During maintenance, the controller can be disconnected and re ‑
moved.
Clean the surfaces

Clean dirty surfaces with a clean, slightly damp cloth. We rec ‑

Reattach the controller after maintenance work has been
completed.
