4 Operating the appliance
When the appliance is started for the first time if instead of the stand-by message
a different message appears this means that the appliance has already started the
cooling process. During the initial set-up, the settings cannot be changed until the
set temperature is reached.
4.4 Setting the temperature
Enter the required temperature by touching the corresponding zone in the display. The
method is the same for both cooling compartments.

▸ Touch the upper/lower cooling compartment as desired.
– Upper cooling compartment: +4 °C to 18 °C (39 °F
to 64 °F).
– Lower cooling compartment: +4 °C to 18 °C (39 °F
to 64 °F).
Note: The display symbol (red wine / white wine) for the rel-
evant cooling compartment changes in the start screen ac-
cording to the temperature selected.
– The white wine symbol appears when the temperature
is set b4 °C and 9 °C (39 °F to 48 °F).
– The red wine symbol appears when the temperature
is set b10 °C and 18 °C (49 °F to 64 °F).

▸ Select the desired temperature for the zone selected by
scrolling up or down.
– The value selected is displayed in orange .

▸ Confirm with the OK button to accept the entry.
– The temperature setting has been entered success-
fully.
– The display symbol (red wine / white wine) of the rel-
evant cooling compartment changes according to the
temperature selected. It now appears in the start
screen.
– The temperature will be reached in a few hours, de-
pending on the setting.
When storing a combination of red and white wines, we recommend storing red
wine in the upper zone and white wine in the lower zone. The effective temperature
in the lower zone with low temperature settings in combination with high temperat-
ure settings in the upper zone may at times be colder and cause product damage.
In this case, set the temperature setting higher. The effective temperature may at
times be different from the selected set value if the door is open for an extended
period of time or if the temperature settings for the two zones are significantly dif-
ferent.
