Childproof lock
The childproof lock prevents a programme from being started accidentally. When the
childproof lock is activated, a programme can only be started by pressing two buttons
simultaneously.
▸ Hold the button depressed for 5 seconds.

In the display appears:

▸ Touch the button 1x until the current setting appears in the display, e.g.:
for
childproof lock OFF.
▸ To change, touch the
button.

appears in the display for childproof lock ON.

The setting is taken over automatically and must not be confirmed.
▸ Touch the button repeatedly until the display goes out.
6.5
Changing the level of dryness
The appliance is designed to provide the most energy-efficient drying. The moisture
sensor continually monitors the level of dryness of the washing. If the washing is not be-
ing dried sufficiently – or being overdried – the level of dryness can be reset.
Changing the level of dryness alters the level of dryness setting of all the pro-
grammes. Care should be taken when increasing the level of dryness as overdry-
ing can weaken fabrics.

Levels of dryness
Very low final drying, recommended for very hard water.
Low final drying, recommended for hard water.
Normal final drying, recommended for medium water hardness. (factory set-
ting)
Strong final drying, recommended for soft water.
Very strong final drying, recommended for very soft water.
6.6
Automatic door opener
If the automatic door opener is switched on, the appliance door opens automatically at
the end of the programme. Otherwise it remains closed and can be opened by touching
the
button.
