5 Drying
Shortening/Clearing the delayed start duration
During the countdown to the delayed start, press the button repeatedly to shorten (in
hourly steps) or clear the duration.

Drum illumination
The drum illumination automatically switches on whenever the appliance door is opened
and switches off when it is closed. If the appliance door is left open, the drum illumina-
tion switches off automatically within 2 minutes.
▸ Touch the
button to switch the drum illumination on or off when the appliance
door is open.
If the appliance door is opened during or at the end of the standard programme,
the drum illumination does not switch on automatically because this is the most
energy-efficient programme and the energy requirements are reduced to a min-
imum.

Interrupting a programme
A running programme can be interrupted at any time to add or remove an item of wash-
ing before time.
After the appliance door is closed, the heat pump waits 10 minutes before starting
again and the programme duration is correspondingly lengthened.
▸ Open the appliance door.

The indicator light for the programme selected illuminates.

The programme name and duration remaining or delayed start period flash in the
display.
▸ Close the appliance door (pushing firmly to).
–
The indicator light for the programme selected flashes.
▸ Touch the flashing programme button.
–
The programme is resumed.

Aborting a programme before time
▸ Touch the button.
–
The programme is aborted and all settings are cleared.

With childproof lock activated
▸ Close the appliance door.

In the display appears:

The indicator lights for the programme buttons flash.
▸ Hold the desired programme button, e.g.
, depressed and at the same time touch
the button.

The indicator lights for the additional functions flash.
After pressing the programme button several times, the
error message ap-
pears in the display.
