5.5 Deleting connection
The connections for mobile devices that are faulty or no longer used can be deleted from
the hob. If an attempt is made to connect more than the permissible number of mobile
devices to the hob,
appears in the display for the operating time / timer. Stored
connections must be deleted before new mobile devices can be added.
▸ Touch the button to switch on the hob.
▸ Hold the button depressed for 15 seconds.
– A short double acoustic signal is emitted.
– All connections are now cleared.
– illuminates briefly in the display.
The connections must not only be deleted on the hob, but also on the mobile
device. Otherwise the mobile device cannot establish a new connection to the hob.
Mobile devices that are new or still in use must be reconnected to the hob.
6 OptiLink
6.1 Connecting the hob to the range hood
The hob can only be connected to a range hood with the OptiLink function.
To activate the connecting mode on the hob:
▸ Switch the hob off.
▸ Access the user setting (see page 20).
▸ Select the
user setting.
▸ Touch or swipe slider 1 to select the setting.
To activate the connecting mode on the range hood:
– Make the settings as described in the operating instructions for the range hood.
If a connection between the hob and the range hood was successfully established, it
must be confirmed on the hob as follows:
▸ Hold the button depressed for 2 seconds.
– The setting is saved and the user settings are closed.
– The appliances are connected and OptiLink is active.
6.2 Deactivating OptiLink
Terminating the connection between the range hood and the hob:
▸ Access the user setting (see page 20).
▸ Select the
user setting.
▸ Touch or swipe slider 1 to select the setting.
▸ Hold the button depressed for 2 seconds.
– The setting is saved and the user settings are closed.
– OptiLink is deactivated.
