Operating modes
The operating modes available are described below.
Top / Bottom heat
Bottom heat
Top / Bottom heat is the conventional method of
cooking. Heat comes from the heating elements
at the top and bottom of the cooking space. It is
only possible to bake and roast food on one
level. Depending on which level is being cooked
on, the top or bottom heat can be more or less
effective.
Especially suitable for roasting succulent joints, as
well as for baking pies, cakes, biscuits, etc.
Bottom heat can be used for preserving foodstuffs
or for baking the bottom of pies, for instance,
well.
