Using accessories

It is important to put the food that is to be cooked or baked at
the right level in the cooking space. See the 'Tips on settings'
section for which level to use.

The original baking tray serves as a baking form for flans and
biscuits, etc. and as a shelf, e.g. when baking with hot air on
two levels, and as a drip tray for use with the wire shelf.

Frozen food products, such as quiche or bread buns, that do
not fill the original baking tray shrink when they are cooked, es-
pecially if cooked at a high temperature. This is normal and un-
avoidable when using square baking trays. Taking the baking
tray out can also be more difficult. As it cools down, the baking
tray goes back to its original form. The wire shelf covered with
baking paper or a round baking tray placed on the wire shelf
can be used to cook such food on instead of the baking tray.

Using extremely hard knives or cutting wheels (ceramic, carb-
ide) to cut foodstuff on the original baking tray can visibly dam-
age the surface.

The wire shelf serves as a shelf for roasting tins and baking
forms, as well as meat and frozen pizza, etc.

The original baking tray is to be used the normal way up – not
upside down.
