4 Care and maintenance
4.4 Standard activated charcoal filter
The standard activated charcoal filter is to be replaced after an operating time of 3 to 6
months. Standard activated charcoal filters cannot be washed or regenerated.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and unscrew the fuse for the appliance
or switch off the circuit breaker.
Removing/Installing
▸ Pull the deflector plate completely out
and remove both grease filters.
▸ Push bar 1 and move the activated
charcoal filter unit 2 down and out of
the bracket.
▸ Replace and dispose of the spent ac-
tivated charcoal filter unit 3 .
▸ Reassemble in the reverse order.

The spent standard activated charcoal filter can be disposed of in the household
waste or at a suitable recycling point.
4.5 Replacing the LED light bulbs
For safety reasons, the LED light bulbs must be replaced by our Customer Services.
