Step 7
In this page, incoming and outgoing wires are drawn. Each wire must have exactly 4 points.
These lines indicate that the people counting direction of the visitor traffic. The arrow on the
line shows which direction will be counted as incoming or outgoing.
The people cross the line as in the direction of arrow will be counted. Red line/arrow
combination shows incoming and green line/arrow combination shows outgoing direction.
In this frame ROI and Excluded areas are also shown to help drawing the lines.

Live Stream

Step 8
In this page, Live image and processing result depth images are shown. In the live stream
image, there are 4 parts that are:
•
Left and right camera view. Top left and right partitions.
•
Depth image calculated according to parameters set for auto calibration. Bottom Left
partition
•
Foreground image calculated from depth image with Depth Threshold parameter.
There are additional 3 parameters shown in this page are set to fine tune the auto calibration
if there is any noise the live depth image. If the depth and foreground images are sufficient
for counting there is no need to change these parameters.
The parameters are:
Depth Threshold
: Color threshold value which is used to define the real target pixels from
depth
image.
Result
is
directly
the
foreground
image.
SAD Window Size
: Increasing this parameter provides smoother view of depth in region of
interest. This parameter effects the Depth image.
