Mounting Height 

–

 Step 4  

  In  this  page,  precise  mounting  height  of  the  device  shall  be  entered.  This  step  is  very 
important for auto calibration process of the device. The accurate measurement must be done 
between the device and the floor.  

 

Figure 18 Mounting Height Settings 

  If the height is out of the range of the device a warning bar appears. In case of incompatible 
height-device  lens  pair,  mounting  must  be  checked.  There  are  2  options  to  overcome  this 
issue: 

1.

 

Lover the mounting height using a bracket.

 

2.

 

Change  the  device  with  another  device  that  has  the  correct  lens  type  for  this 
installation height.

Counting Region 

–

 Step 5 

  In this page, counting region of the device where the device actively tracks people shall be 
entered. Irrelevant areas such as walls, stalls, etc. shall be excluded.  

  Both the screen show and manipulates the same area. For easy interpretation both depth 
and real images are shown.  

  There are 2 types of areas that 

can be drawn. First one is the “ROI” that is set by default and 

cannot be deleted. This area shows where the counting and processing shall take place.
