Handling of Note Off signals (Note
Trigger)
This section describes how to configure the handling of Note
Off signals during MIDI phrase playback.

Phrase playback is stopped upon
receipt of a Note Off signal.
You can stop phrases during playback by turning on any note
number using Program Change 128.
Configuring the Note Trigger
1. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
2. Turn the SELECT dial to '6.5 NOTE TRIGGER'
then press the SELECT dial.
3. Use the SELECT dial to choose your desired
note trigger (TRIGGER/GATE) then press the
SELECT dial.
4. The confirmation screen is displayed. Press the
ENTER button to execute the operation.
To cancel the operation, turn the SELECT dial to
'CANCEL' then press the ENTER button.
Once the setting is complete, the display returns to the
settings selection screen.
5. Press the MODE button.
The setting is completed and the display returns to the
default screen.
Pressing the MODE button mid-setting displays a confirmation
screen asking you whether or not to cancel the setting. Please
note that selecting 'YES' and pressing the ENTER button
returns you to the default screen and cancels all settings made
up to that point.
MIDI phrase playback methods
Once you have completed the settings, you are now ready to
send a MIDI signal from an external MIDI device. The UDMR
then initiates phrase playback upon receiving the message.

* Program changes 21 - 23 are allocated 250 phrases from
memory card A, and these phrase allocations cannot be
changed.
* Program changes 71 - 73 are allocated 250 phrases from
memory card B, and these phrase allocations cannot be
changed.
* You can stop phrases during playback by turning on any
note number using Program Change 128.
