Allocating phrases to note numbers
(MIDI note mapping)
Use the Note On data signals to play back phrases
corresponding to note numbers. You can allocate your
choice of phrases to the 128 notes of Program Change 1.
While phrases can be selected from either memory cards A or
B, the memory card on which the selected phrases are
recorded must be inserted during playback or they will not play
correctly (if the phrase does not exist, the playback signal will
be ignored).
You can designate and play back all phrases by combining
Program Change and Note On data (p.64).
1. Press the MODE button.
The MODE indicator light comes on.
2. Turn the SELECT dial to '6.2 MIDI NOTE
MAPPING' then press the SELECT dial.
3. Turn the SELECT dial to select the note you wish
to configure
.
Once you have set the note, press the SELECT dial.
