1. For a period of 5 years from the original purchase date,
this electronic scale is warranted as a consumer product to
the original consumer purshaser.
2. This electronic scale is warranted against defective
materials and workmanship. This warranty is void if the
product has been damaged due to misuse, unreasonable
use, neglect, accident, internal calibration tampering,
improper and unauthorized service or other causes not
arising out of the defects in material or workmanship.
3. Any implied warranties arising from this scale, including,
but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to
the about 5 year period. The above warranty is the exclusive
remedy for the consumer, and US BALANCE shall not be
liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or
consequential costs, expenses, or damages, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
4. During the above 5 year warranty period, if the scale fails
to work properly when used under normal conditions, we will
repair, or at our descression replace it free of charge . You
must pay for the cost of sending the scale to us. We will pay
for the cost of returning the repaired or replaced scale to
you. To obtain a warranty service, please return the product
in its original packaging with original sales receipt, enclosed
