3.8  SYSTEM START UP 

After having carried out the electrical connections, the control panel can be powered on and activated as follows: 

 

Connect the batteries terminals. 

 

Close the plastic cover of the control panel. 

 

Power supply the control panel via the AC mains. 

 

Wait a few minutes in order to let the conventional detectors perform the automatic calibration. 

 

Perform the functional tests on the system and the points. 

3.8.1  Functional tests 

Circuits verification 

 

Remove a point from the circuit and verify that the control panel signals the opening of the circuit by displaying a message, 
turning the fault LED indicator ON and activating the buzzer. 

 
If a malfunctioning is notified to the user, verify that: 

 

There is no short circuit. 

 

The polarity of the circuit and the points is correct. 

 

The points are not consuming too much. 

 

The end of line resistors are connected.
