Securing the boat

Dock Lines and Fenders

Make sure to keep centerline of boat parallel to dock. Bow sits further from dock than stern. Attach a

bow/stern line and a fore/aft spring line. Fenders should be positioned to protect boat.

Before walking away, move boat fore/aft, side to side by hand to ensure safe tie-up.
