Chapter 7: UA Account & Store

Account Overview

Your Universal Audio account is where all your UAD‑2 Live Rack (and other UAD
products), and its associated UAD plug‑ins, is registered and managed. The UA account
is required to register and authorize your UAD‑2 Live Rack hardware, download UAD
software, and receive customer support.
This chapter provides complete details about the UA store, your UA account, and UAD
plug‑in authorization

Device Registration

The account creation and device registration process is triggered automatically whenever
a new UAD device is recognized by the UAD software. The UA web pages guide you
through the registration process. To begin the registration process, visit:

www.uaudio.com/register

Note: To trigger the process with UAD-2 Live Rack if the software is already
installed, open the UAD-2 Meter & Control Panel application.

Accessing Your Account

To view your account pages, click the MY ACCOUNT link at the top of web of pages at

.

MY ACCOUNT link at www.uaudio.com

When you’re not already logged in, the LOG IN link appears instead of the MY ACCOUNT
link. In this case, click LOG IN to enter your email and password and access your
account.
You have the option to stay logged in so you don’t have to enter credentials with each
visit. If you forget your password, the store can email a password reset link to you.
