Click Apply, and then OK.
NOTE:
The card you added will not be sent to MT180 immediately, but will be sent periodically
via Unitech MT Service. The default value is five minutes. You can modify the interval
setting in MT Service Tool.
Using Fingerprint Reader
MT180 has an optional integrated Fingerprint reader
that able to enroll and verify fingerprints. The Reader
can store up to 7,000 templates. Each user is
allowed to have a maximum of three fingerprints.
NOTE:
Make sure your card is valid.
Follow instructions below to enroll a fingerprint.
1.
Press
F1
button.
2.
Select
General
>
Add Finger
.
3.
Swipe your card.
4.
Put your finger in the Fingerprint Reader and
adjust your finger place according to on-
screen prompts.
The screen may remind you that the finger is
too high, too low, too left, too right, too small,
no finger, or remove finger and put finger
repeatedly for three times.
5.
Press
F3
button when the screen displays “Collect finger OK. Continue?” if you want to enroll
another fingerprint. Or press
F5
button if you do not continue.
6.
After enrolling three fingerprints, the screen displays “Collect finger OK” and return to the
standby screen.
Follow instructions below to utilize MTTool to collect fingerprints.
1.
Connect MT180 and your computer to the network. See
Establishing Terminal-PC Connection
2.
Execute MTTool on your computer.
3.
Make sure you entered correct IP address and port number. Click
Connect
button.
4.
Under the SysSet2 tab, enter a card number in the Card No field and click
Card No Query
but-
ton. Value “FFFFFFFFFFFF” displayed in the Fingerprint Index field indicates no fingerprint
data in this card.
