Pour the replacement coins into the large opening at the top of the hopper
assembly. Remember to direct the coins toward the inclined plane.

When the coin level is close to 600 - 1200 coins, begin to add coins by hand.
Using this method, coins will tend to slide into the dispensing wheel more easily,
which will reduce to possibility of clogs and jams.
Time and experience should be your guide as to when to refill your hopper. Unitec
recommends starting with approximately 900 coins to maintain a good accept/dispense ratio.
3.8.2
Removing the Hopper from the Wash Select II
To remove your hopper, follow the steps below.
1.
Grasp the handle, located across the top of the hopper and pull the hopper up
and out. Be careful not to accidentally jerk the wires out of the back of the hopper.
2.
Once the wires at the back of the hopper are visible, grasp them at the brown
plug housing and pull them straight back.
3.
Gently rock the connector back and forth while pulling them outward until they
have been disconnected from the hopper.
3.8.3
Cleaning and General Maintenance
The following maintenance should be performed on the Wash Select II every three months:
1.
Remove the coin hopper from the unit.
2.
Remove all coins from the hopper.
3.
Use a damp rag to clean any metal dust that may have accumulated on the exit
ramp.
4.
Remove the two side screws that hold the bottom support bracket and pull the
main hopper cube from the hopper assembly.
5.
Use a Q-Tip or Iso-swab to clean the coin exit slot.
6.
Remove the top part of the hopper by sliding the red lever on the side of the
hopper downward. Slide the top part of the hopper upward to remove it.
7.
Remove the hopper wheel and clean it with a damp rag.
8.
Clean the inside of the hopper with a damp rag.
9.
Reverse these steps to replace the hopper. Be sure you do not pinch the cable
when returning the hopper into the Wash Select II case.
