Equivalent Input Calibration Procedure
By this method, calibration is performed by simply key inputting the output (mV/V) of the load cell
and the corresponding weight (value you want to display) without using an actual load.
Rough actual load calibration can be performed without a weight in such a case that the F160 is
replaced due to failure or actual load calibration is performed by mistake.
Since equivalent calibration is absolutely temporary, perform actual load calibration as soon as
possible. Perform equivalent calibration by the following procedure:
Connect the F160 and load cell according to the section
Release the calibration value lock and the set value lock which locks
calibration.
If the CC-Link option is mounted, make and establish connection.
* Only when performing calibration operation from the host.
Register the position of Decimal point.
Register the maximum capacity of the scale.
If the registered value is exceeded by 10 scale divisions or more,
display shows over scale “OFL2”.
Register the minimum scale division of the scale.
Set the weight corresponding to the output to be registered in *1.
Set the output of the load cell (mV/V).
Register the initial zero point again if necessary.
Disable changing set value related to calibration.
Moreover, if required, please perform lock the set value lock.

Set the calibrating weight below the capacity.
For performing calibration at the rated value according to the load cell
specifications, set the capacity equal to the rated value of the load cell.
For parallel connection of load cells, the input may differ from the output of the
load cell specifications because it may be accompanied by a voltage drop
depending on the wiring material.
In such a case, register the actual input for correct calibration.
