Operating precautions:
• the outside and inside of the
measuring jaws are sharp - handle
with care
• keep vernier faces clean. Prevent
liquid from getting into the slider, as
it contains electrical components that
could be damaged.
• do not use electric engraving pens to
mark the vernier.
• avoid scratching the vernier ruler.
• always be careful when handling the
digital vernier. Be careful not to bump
or drop the vernier.
• do not use the vernier in direct
sunlight. Avoid storing the vernier in
extreme temperatures.
• the vernier body should be cleaned
with petrol and lubricated with a few
drops of clock oil. Do not use acetone
or alcohol.
• the output end should never come
into contact with metal, doing so could
damage its internal electronics.
• Please use a CR2025 (lithium cell)
battery. Remove the battery if the
vernier will not be used for longer
periods of time.

MEASURING
• The image below describes the four measuring methods this
product supports. This includes: external, internal, step and
depth.
CHANGING THE BATTERY
• With the correct tool, take out the battery and the battery splint.
The image below describes how to change the battery. Take
out the old battery and put in a new CR2025 lithium battery in
the battery housing. The positive pole of the battery must face
upwards, as shown in Figure 3 in the image.
