Since the Bulb Warning Indicator is not programmable the only
way to eliminate the indication is to disconnect the control mod-
ule. Once disconnected the driver’s display will not show Bulb
Warning again.

To disconnect the Bulb Warning system, two wires 1999A and
1999B must be disconnected at the Basic Module. First remove
the covers of the Basic Module behind the passenger seat. Re-
move the two screws, one each side, from the Basic Module
mounting points and lean the Basic Module forward. Locate
connector A7-4 (see Figure 7.2).

Disconnect 1999A at cavity 15 and 1999B at cavity 12. The Bulb
Warning System is now disconnected.
