Removing the combustion head

Remove the top cover

remove the photoresistor from its seat;

unscrew the revolving connectors (

in figure) on the fuel pipes (use 2 spanners to avoid loosening the connections attached to the
distributor block);

loosen

screw to free the threaded rod

, then screw out the 2 screws

holding the washer

and the screw

again;
5
remove the whole assembly as shown in figure;
6
clean the combustion head and the oil gun by means of a vacuum cleaner; to scrape off the scale use a metallic brush.
Note: to replace the combustion head reverse the procedure described above.

Electrodes Adjustment
Important Note: Check the ignition and detection electrodes after removing/adjusting the combustion head.
Adjust the electrodes position, according to the quotes shown in the next picture.
ATTENTION: perform these adjustments once the burner is turned off and cooled.
ATTENTION: avoid the ignition and detection electrodes to contact metallic parts (blast tube, head, etc.), other-
wise the boiler’s operation would be compromised. Check the electrodes position after any intervention on the
combustion head.
