Controls for the Zones
The UMM 8800 has eight output zones with identical function and configuration features.
SOURCE display & UP/DOWN key
The UP and DOWN keys beneath the SOURCE display allow the selection of the signal
sources L1 - L8 as well as L and OF.
L indicates the selection of the REMOTE SOURCE audio input, L1-L8 indicate the
selection of the input sources LINE 1 - LINE 8.
OF is shown if no source is selected.
To confirm the selection press ENTER or press ESC to abort selection.
You find those keys in the MONITOR section (2)
You find further infof ormation about the REMOTE SOURCE input in chapter 5.
BUSY LED Indicator (e.g. 1.3)
The BUSY LED lights up when a paging is activated via a paging station UPM 8808.
MIC PRIO Key (e.g. 1.5)
The MIC PRIO key allows selection of the priority function of MIC input (13.1).
Activation of the priority is indicated by the LED next to this key.
If a paging is triggered with the priority function activated the audio signal of the selected
music source is muted.
