5. How to Operate

This section describes how to operate and handle this power supply.

5-1. How to operate in LOCAL mode

This section describes the power operation in the LOCAL mode.
In the LOCAL mode, set ON/OFF of the DC output and various parameters on the front panel of the
power supply.

5-1-1. At startup of power supply

At startup of the power supply, the display starts and shows the current setting information.

・

M/N appears. For M/N, see Table 2-1: M/N.

(ex. DC-20 800V model with M/S and LARC functions)

・

The current operation mode and the control mode are displayed. (ex. Operation mode: LOCAL,
Control mode: power control)

・

The current number of connected power supplies is displayed. (ex. a combination of two 20-kW power
supplies and one 10kW power supply)

・

The main screen appears.

Single unit, master unit

Slave machine

* The corresponding number will be changed.

PSET: The current control mode are displayed.

PSET:    Displayed in the power control mode.
VSET:    Displayed in the voltage control mode.
ISET:    Displayed in the current control mode.
