4. Use
The ultraBRIDLES transporting suspension connects the basket stretcher to the
commercially available descenders in order to transport the patient. The length of the
ultraBRIDLES transporting suspension can be adjusted.
4.1 Using the carabiner hooks
A carabiner hook is attached to each of the four nylon straps to secure the transporting
suspension to the basket stretcher.
To open
the carabiner hook, first turn the lock swivel nut by 1/ 4 turn to the side. The gate
can then be opened, it closes again automatically when released.
To close
it, move your thumb off the carabiner gate. This closes the gate, then tighten the
lock swivel nut again. This prevents the carabiner hook from being opened accidentally.
4.2 Attaching to the basket stretcher
First, attach the carabiner to the designated eyelet on the basket stretcher and then to the
attachment point of the lifting device.
To attach the transporting suspension to the basket stretcher, use the metal eyelets in the
plastic trough underneath the main frame (Figure 2).
