Free Spooling

Move the handle spring to
the free spool position so the
pawl can disengage from the
drum gears. (Fig. 1 & 2)

Depress and hold the catch latch. (Fig. 3)

Pull out the amount of cable needed.
Lifting / Tensioning a Load

Move the handle spring to the
tensioning position so the pawl can
engage the drum gears. (Fig. 4 & 5)

Ratchet the handle until the load is
at the desired position.
