6. Getting Started
Start using the remote control
Step 1 Open the battery cover of the remote control and put two AAA
size batteries so that the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ marks on the batteries match the ‘+’
and ‘-‘ marks inside the remote control. Replace the battery cover.
Step 2 To use the remote control, point it towards the front of the set top box. The remote control has a range of up to
10
meters from the set top box at an angle of up to
60
degrees.
Switching on your set top box
Step 1 Check if all connections have been made properly
Step 2 Make sure that the receiver is connected to the main power.
Step 3 Turn on the TV and select an appropriate source
Step 4 Turn on the set top box
First Time Set Up
If you are using the receiver for the first time or restoring to Factory Default, the Installation menu will appear on your
TV screen.
