If you use more than one ultrasonic sensor in your application, you must avoid an overlap of the sonic cones. This
overlap can occur if two sensors are mounted less than 200 mm (for RU40U…) or 450 mm (for RU130U…) apart.
If the distance between the sensors is less than this, you must synchronize the identical sensors used (i.e. with the
same type code stated on the device). For this read also section 8.1, Sensor synchronization, on p. 18.

Connection

Connect the female connector of the connection cable to the male connector at the rear of the sensor.

Connect the open end of the connection cable to the power source and/or processing units as shown in Fig. 7
and the terminal layout of the connected sensor.

Commissioning
The sensor is operational automatically once the connection is made and the power supply is switched on.
