5 Installing
5.1 General installation instructions
„ For optimal monitoring, mount the sensor such that the probe rod is fully immersed in
the medium.

If the medium flows in a horizontal direction and may contain deposits or trapped gas
(e.g. air bubbles): Mount the sensor e.g. laterally.

„ If the medium flows in a horizontal direction and the flow channel is not completely filled
with the medium: Mount the sensor e.g. below the flow.

If the medium flows in a vertical direction: Mount the sensor only in risers.

A minimum distance from potential interference variables (pumps, valves, flow rectifiers,
pipe bends, changes in the cross section) must be maintained.
