12 Putting the device into operation

12.8

Changing default setting for privacy mode

If a speech connection to this ComStation

is established from another

ComStation

or from the ManagementCenter, the privacy function is

switched off, see chapter "8.5 Receiving a call" as of page 76. This means
that the staff at this ComStation

is heard directly by the staff at the other

end.

This default setting can be changed so that the privacy function is switched
on first. Only when the staff at the ComStation

tap the crossed-out micro-

phone icon, the privacy function is turned off.

1. Tap "SETTINGS" in the Home screen.

2. In the appearing "SETTINGS" window tap "Setup".

The following view appears:

NOTE!

The described configuration setting is password

protected because it may only be performed by a system
administrator. The password can be obtained from Tunstall
GmbH.
