Before carrying out the following tasks
irst read the safety instructions in
Chapter 2 - Safety. Also, familiarise
yourself with the task sequence described.
• Compare the interface height of the carrier vehicle's
receptacle with the receptacle of the sweeping machine.
• Unscrew screws (1) on both sides to shift the receptacle.
• Use the screws and new locknuts to re-secure
the receptacle at the appropriate height on the
perforated rail (2).
When attaching the yard loader receptacle
for the irst time, no adjustment is required.
Drive shaft
The shortening of the drive shaft must be carried
out according to the drive shaft manufacturer's
speciications (see operating manual of the drive
shaft).
• Slide the fork of the joint (3) onto the drive shaft (2) of
the gear (5) and secure it with the locking screw (1)
(Sweeping machine with brush ø520 drive shaft with
pull-back cover (5)). See the drive shaft manufacturer's
operating manual.
• Hook the chain (4) of the anti-twist device into a suitable
location.
Water spraying device or illumination system
For the Kompakt sweeping machine with
water spraying device or illumination
devices, the switchbox must be mounted at a
suitable position in the carrier vehicle.
• Connect cable (3) to the battery (-).
• Connect cable (4) to the parking light terminal.
• Socket (5) for the electric connection of the Kompakt
sweeping machine.
• (1) Fuse.
• (2) Off - On switch.
